Bensberg, September 30, 2005 – Girindus AG, a company listed in the Prime Segment of the German Stock Exchange and specialized in process development and the production of innovative drug and cosmetic actives, today reports a change to the company's Supervisory Board.

Dr. Eberhard Piepho, Managing Director of Solvay Organics GmbH and Fritz Link have been appointed as new members of the company’s Supervisory Board as of October 1, 2005. The appointment was effected at the company's request by the Local Court in Cologne, after Professor Axel Kleemann and Dr. Helmut Waldmann resigned their offices as members of the company's Supervisory Board as of September 30, 2005. In addition, Eckhard Krauß has resigned as deputy member of the Supervisory Board. Dr. Karl-Heinz Köppinger continues to be a member of the Supervisory Board. This means that, in future, the Supervisory Board consists of Dr. Piepho, Fritz Link and Dr. Köppinger, whereas Dr. Piepho will act as Chairman and Dr. Köppinger as Deputy Chairman.

These changes reflect the company's new ownership structure.
